6 months Old!!!!

My Sweet Niece Addison is 6 months old today!!! I can't believe how fast time has flown!! It seems just like yesterday she was born!!!

I love you Addison Tamara Hevner! You are the light of sooo many people's lives!!! I am so lucky to be your Aunt!!!

Wow, its been a while since I have last posted...to tell you the truth nothing too exciting has happened...but lets recap.....

• I had a great time in Colorado with my family! I love it there sooo much!

• I was in Las Vegas the beginning of last week for a work convention! It was actually really good and informative! ( considering people looked at me like I was 12 years old, some lady even came up to me and asked me if I wanted Hot Chocolate!!!!!! What?!?! Do I look 12? She even put whip cream on it!! My big 24 is coming up here soon, maybe then I'll look older!

• I am officially tierd ALL OF THE TIME!!! if anybody has a cure for this please let me know!!! ( no, I'm not pregnant, I know thats what you were thinking!)

• I am throwing my sister a baby shower on Sunday with her friend Maggie....keep posted on that fun occasion!!

Letters From War

The Day Nick Left
The Day he got home!

I wanted to share this song with everyone....it made me cry this morning....Cry with happy and sad tears. Happy tears because I know what its like to get these letters and hear of the great things Nick did while he was in Afghanistan. Also I will never forget the moment I saw him when he got back....he got off that airplane and I was speechless.....I am sadden by this song, because there are so many men and women out there that do not make it home....and I cry for those familes.....the wives, children, parents......My hear sinks with sadness and pain..... I know that God is taking care of each and every soldier out there fighting these terrible wars...I hope this can bring peace to people and reassure them that God is good!! Pray for our Soldiers....."Home of the Free because of the BRAVE"......

New Family Member.....

On Sunday afternoon Nick and I decided to go to the human society to look at a puppy that we found online. His name was Hurcules and he was sooo cute! So we went, not really going to get anything ( ya right) and the minute we got into the puppy room someone took hercules....my heart was broken..he was so cute and little! So we were about to leave, when we stopped in front of a cage with a sweet looking 5 month old puppy that gave us the cutest puppy dog eyes. He was no Golden Retriever (the kind I will still get one day) but something inside of me said to at least have them take him out and let us see him! So we did! and long story short we got him! His name was Morgan at the human society, but we changed it to Bear.....Bear Mallaire (haha it rhymes) So now we are trying to get the kitty and dog to like eachother....it's an ongoing battle at the moment! I love them both, so they need to love each other too!!

It's been a while...

Its been over a month since I updated this thing....lets see what has happened?

- I have completed my second semster at ASU...wooohooo!! only two more to go...boooo!

- I have somehow let my house become messier than ever before!

- I love my husband more and more everyday!

- I have successfully burnt 2 meals in the past two weeks....

- I have not exercised in 2 months (well besides about a week, when I was dedicated)...

- I colored my hair dark brown...not to sure about that....blonde may be calling my name again real soon....

- I have become addicted to Passion Iced teas from Starbucks

- AND....are you ready for this....I'm going be an Aunt again...Yay!! My sister is having a baby, due in November!!! I am beyond excited for her and Tom!!!

So...what am I going to do about the above list......

-Enjoy my summer off of school!

-Spring Clean my ENTIRE house!

-Keep loving my husband more and more everyday

-Learn new recipes

-Start, and finish p90x (its a workout system, in case you were wondering)

-Either love myself as a brunette, or go back to the comforts of blonde....I will feel this one out..

-Only have one passion tea a week...

-Be there every step of the way for my sister!!

I think that sums up my life right about now...I'm Enjoying married life and everything that comes a long with it!!!
