Addison Tamara Hevner

My Niece was born on Tuesday January 20th, 2009!!!! She is BEAUTIFUL!!!! She is named after my mom, Tamara Hevner! My mom would be so proud!! I am not just saying this because she is my niece, but she is sooo cute!! I am extremely excited to watch her grow and be the best Aunt I can be!!!

Now that I am a proud Aunt.....There will be MANY more pictures to come!!!!

YOGA

So today I went and signed up for Bikram Yoga! I may be completely insane, but I feel that this could benefit me in more ways than I even know! I will let you know how I truly feel Tuesday after class.

If you don't know what Bikram Yoga is, it is basically 26 poses you do in a room that is between 105-109 degrees! Am I insane!!!!!!! I hate being hot first of all, I get hot very easily, so I am terrified of overheating, I have only done yoga maybe three times in my life!!!!! Wish me luck on this crazy adventure I am about to put myself through!

I think it will be really good for me! The benefits people get from Bikram Yoga is pretty incredible! It releases so many toxins, strengthens your body, helps you lose weight, heal injuries, makes you feel and look great, Improve muscle tone, increase flexibility, improve breathing...ect!

I really want to stick to this, and become commited to Yoga!!!! I'll let you know how it goes!!

What I want in 2009

I have been thinking a lot today.......

I want 2009 to be a better year. I not only want the year to be better, but I want to become better! Here are a few things that I thought would be a good start for a better me:


I am going to start thanking the Lord above every morning for the blessings in my life

I want to take better care of my body. This will take both physical and mental strength

I want to help my dad start his business, and help it be a success!

I want to dedicate myself to Pilates and Yoga..or the gym itself!

I want to get lost in really good books

I want to travel....or at least take as many small vacations as I can

I want to help change somebodies life....for the better

I want to be more adventurous!

I could go on forever, but my Number one thing I want to be this year is:

THE BEST WIFE I CAN BE!!!!!!

So I will officially become an Aunt next week! I am so excited!!! My sister-in-law is scheduled to have a C-section either Thursday or Friday next week! This is the first baby in our family in a long time! I can't wait to meet my sweet baby niece!!!

New Year, New Me

So it is almost 2009....

I am ready to leave 2008 behind, although I think 2008 was a pretty good year for me....

My sweet Nicholas came home from Afghanistan! The blessing I was waiting for!

I spent New Years in Oregon with my best friend Briana!

I learned that I will become an Aunt to a sweet baby girl in 2009!

I got to witness two of my very best friends in the Celebration of Marriage!

I myself, got the best gift of 2008, a marriage proposal from my dear Nicholas!

I got straight A's for the first time in my life! What a semester it was! I am finally one semester closer to becoming a teacher!

I continued to get unconditional love from my family!



I was blessed this year with love, family, friends, health, and happiness. I thank God everyday for giving me strength and courage to continue to better myself and the people around me!

Here's to 2009.... It will begin with meeting my sweet Niece Addison, and then my Wedding to my Prince... I believe this will be a wonderful new year!
