My precious Luke,
Today, you are 2 months old! I can hardly believe it! You have truly become my very best friend and I love you more than anything! Thank you for being such a sweet boy and showing me what a true miracle looks like!
What you are up to these days:
~You are 14.3 lbs and 25 and 1/2 inches long.
~You are still in the 95th percentile
for your weight and height.
~You are wearing a size 1 diaper, although I think you will be moving up soon!
~It still seems like you eat all day long, but I think it is about every 2-3 hours during the day.
~For the most part you only wake up twice during the night to eat.
~We go to bed every night between 10:00-11:30 pm.
~We have our nightly routine: If it is bath night (every other night) then we take a bath, lotion you up, put your jammies on and then you do your last feeding before you fall asleep! I love this time, it's just me and you babe and I look forward to it every night.
~You have found your hands. You suck on them and I think it is so cute!
~Your Paci soothes you and I love the noise of you sucking on it!
~You really are such a good baby, but when you are mad/sad/hungry you sure let us know with that big cry of yours.
~I have put you in your crib every now and then to get some things done around the house. As of right now you love your crib and just lay there cooing and kicking to your musical mobile.
~You are sleeping in your arms reach co-sleeper next to our bed. You are doing SO w
ell in it. After your last feeding, I set you in it, awake or asleep and before I know it, we are both asleep!
~You usually wake up between 6:45-7am, you eat and then we go out into the living room into your swing and you sleep again until about 8:30 or 9am!
~Your hair is starting to fall out and coming in a little lighter! I am curious to see what color it will end up.
~Your eyes are still a dark blue!
~Your acid reflux is still around. I am praying it goes away soon!
~I love smooching your cheeks and pinching your chubby little legs!
~You are starting to smile and "talk" a lot more. It is so cute!
~You are wearing mostly 3-6 months clothes.
~You look like your daddy :)
~Nursing you is such a bonding time that we share.
~You are the sweetest boy I know!
Well my love, another month down, and I adore you more than you could ever know! I look forward to the next stages in your sweet little life and I am SO grateful I was chosen to be your mama!
