Hello...it's been so long!

I feel like I need to introduce myself again, it has been that long since I have blogged! I actually don’t think I ever really did “introduce myself” even when I started this blog! So here it is: I am a 27 year old, Wife, Mom and Teacher. I teach during the days and love on my sweet baby boy, (umm…he’s 2 now…I guess he is not a baby anymore L) when I get home! I have an amazing husband who I have been with for almost 10 years, and married for a little over 4 of those years! We have been through a lot, and I am so thankful for is selfless love and care that he has for our little family!

Okay, well what have we been up to?

~We moved into a new house! Right before we got married, Nick bought us a house out in the West Valley. As much as I loved it, we were really far from most of our families and wanted to live closer to family. So we did. We moved, and now live within 5 minutes of both of our parents. We have a yard for Luke to play in, and are close to Nicks work. My work on the other hand takes me about 30 minutes to get to now, but it’s not too bad!

~Luke turned 2 in March!! WHAT?!? How the heck do I have a 2 year old? I swear he was born yesterday! As much as it makes me sad how big he is, he is at SUCH a fun age! He is starting to talk like crazy, and understanding way more than I think he does. It is amazing what you say or ask him to do and he does it! He has a big boy bed now, (which is a whole new post to write about) and is taller than ever! Most people think he is way older than 2 when they see him! I just adore him and LOVE being his mama! (even with the lovely fits he is throwing lately)

~This school year is almost over for me….It has been quit the year. It was my first year teaching 5th grade. I was really blessed to work on such a great team, but man I have realized that I miss the little ones! Going from teaching 1st grade to 5th grade was a big jump, and as much as I loved their independence and maturity (ha, did I really just say that? For the most part, they were NOT very mature) I will not miss their “pre-teen” attitudes and the DRAMA! Oh my the drama!!! “I am mad at her because she was talking to the boy I like, and she knows I like him and she is just talking to him to make me mad” and blah blah blah……. It will NOT be missed! I wish my 5th graders all the best going into middle school, and truly do hope that some of them do a lot of growing(up) this summer! 6th grade is going to be a nice awaking for some of them!!!  Oh and I am teaching 2nd grade next year! Yay J

~It is getting stinking HOT here in AZ. I feel like we had a pretty nice winter this year. I felt like it stayed cool a little longer than usual, but man I feel like the heat just hit hard….. I really dislike excessive heat, so why I live in Arizona, I have no idea!! I love warm weather during the day, and then a cool down at night! But that doesn’t happen here once May hits!

~We don’t have much planned this summer, except a California trip in late July! Maybe we will get up north to the cabin a few times too!

Well that’s really all I have to update about! Kinda sad considering I haven’t blogged in almost 6 months! Hopefully I will be better at keeping up on my posts! Who likes reading a blog that never updates! Not me! But I am pretty sure only like 2 people at the most read this blog anyways!

Have a great Thursday!
